Faraway Snow

On today's walk.  The Tramuntana was blowing, but not too much.  The Pyrenees were covered with snow from the weekend storm.  The wind was blowing in the mountains too, lifting the snow into what looked, from a nice, relatively warm distance, like a cloud.

Closer at hand was my walking companion, Cupcake.  He's a great companion.  He explores and does his own thing, but never wanders off too far.  And he doesn't chatter.  I like some talk, but constant chatter gets in the way of enjoying the wind, the snow, and whatever is happening inside my head at the moment.  It was a good walk.
