I also don't sympathize with the need to suffer for one's faith, although the book I happen to be reading (Sacred Hearts by Sarah Dunant) describes a lot of that.Dvorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16677105625085234763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3113320021394571753.post-53500930354474317952010-04-17T00:04:19.946+02:002010-04-17T00:04:19.946+02:00I had never heard of the pilgrimage until I read h...I had never heard of the pilgrimage until I read his book. Pilgrimages has never been something that appealed to me. When I was in Mexico City a number of years ago, I saw people crawl on their hands and knees across stone to a cathedral. A form of pilgrimage, I guess. I have never been one who is willing to suffer for his faith.hkinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16296312618266909443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3113320021394571753.post-51524789208855330762010-04-16T19:18:00.792+02:002010-04-16T19:18:00.792+02:00Harley, no I haven't read it. But I have read two other books about the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and enjoyed those a lot. If I weren't such a wimp, I might try to walk it myself. There is something very appealing about the idea of the pilgrimage.Dvorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16677105625085234763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3113320021394571753.post-41226427562510040782010-04-14T01:01:17.148+02:002010-04-14T01:01:17.148+02:00Have you read the Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho?
